Anthénors 2017 & Brittany blue lobster

We have just bottled our “Les Anthénors” 2017 comprised of 100% mature Clairette vines! “A beautiful signature of the Colombo estate”, says David Marras sommelier of Restaurant Les Cèdres (a 2 star Michelin Guide Restaurant in Granges-les-Beaumont). He continues by telling us of his food and wine pairing on this new vintage:

“It is on the Ocean Scents menu that we have chosen to highlight the 2017 Les Anthénors cuvée. An elegant wine with citrus and star anise accents that we pair with the Brittany blue lobster, peeled and then grilled on the plancha with a few vegetables preserved in olive oil, a little reminder of the origins of wine. Clairette brings the necessary relief and generous texture to envelop the delicate flesh of the crustacean.”
