The vineyard of “Le Vallon de l’Aigle” (The Eagle Valley) is unique. This wine takes its name from the eagles and hawks which fly over this South-facing site of old Syrah vines.
Only produced in outstanding vintages, this wine offers extreme complexity and silkiness with notes of violet, wildraspberry, incense, tobacco and minerality. Achieving superb balance, it is a long lived robust wine indeed.
