“Grand Classique” from the terroirs of Cornas.
“Les Terres Brûlées” (The Roasted Earth) is the prettiest expression of Syrah from the Cornas appellation. Coming from a mixture of 20 to 60 year old vines, this wine is a subtle blend of specially selected plots.
The tannins, powerful but elegant, are softened by a well-managed maturation of two years in oak. It has an intense ruby colour with aromas of raspberry, liquorice, coffee and a long and spicy finish. This wine is great paired with a rib roast of beef and dauphinoise potatoes.
