\n\t\t\t\tJean-Luc Colombo\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Jean-Luc Colombo is a man of passion, energy and human warmth.\u00a0From his mother, a cook from Marseille, he had an early taste for the pleasures of the table which would help him to become an outstanding cook.\u00a0This naturally led him to the studies of oenology, to learn the secrets of wine and their natural accompaniments with the dishes of his childhood.<\/p>\n

Known worldwide for his wines, Jean-Luc is also renowned, for his friendliness, generosity and sense of hospitality.\u00a0He fiercely defends the identity and richness of the French gastronomic heritage.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tAnne Colombo\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]In the family trio that constitutes the Colombo Domaine, Anne represents the Terrain.\u00a0Deeply attached to nature by her Languedoc and C\u00e9vennes origins, she leads the vineyard in the most respectful way possible and ardently defends biodiversity on the estate.<\/p>\n

While Jean-Luc travels the world to publicize their wines and Laure oversees the winery and the development of the business, Anne is the anchor of the family: a vineyard specialist and gardener of local fare besides being an outstanding cook and even neo-beekeeper!<\/p>\n

Anne is passionate about gastronomy like Jean-Luc, and being a true cordon bleu chef, she regularly delights the hosts of the Colombo house with her recipes inspired by her Mediterranean heritage and her attachment to local products from the Dr\u00f4me and Ard\u00e8che. \n\t\t\t\tLaure Colombo\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Today in 2020 Laure is in her thirties and already a rising star in the Rh\u00f4ne Valley!\u00a0Where does the fire of passion come from?\u00a0When you meet Laure’s parents, you understand that this is a typical feature of the Colombo family.<\/p>\n

Laure grew up in Cornas.\u00a0The vineyards were her playground and it was there that she learned to love nature.\u00a0She deeply appreciates the aromas of the hillsides, those smells that take us back to our childhood memories.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-6″][vc_single_image image=”4847″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right” css_animation=”none”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row gap=”35″ row_content_width=”grid” css=”.vc_custom_1587112537230{padding-bottom: 130px !important;}”][vc_column css_animation=”none” width=”1\/2″ offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-6″][vc_column_text]She studied commerce at the University of Lille.\u00a0With her diploma in hand, she went to work a number of times in the United States (at Disney World for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, for Wine & Spirit Magazine -and as a sommeliers assistant at Alain Ducasse\u2018s Restaurant at the Essex House in NYC).\u00a0She chose to develop her marketing and communication skills with the prestigious champagne house of Dom P\u00e9rignon and Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, and then in New-Delhi (India) with the Grover Vineyard.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-6″][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]Laure returned to France, obtained a Bachelor in Viticulture and Oenology in Bordeaux (and additionally interned at Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Brion for one year). She finally followed that up with a Master\u2019s Degree in Oenologist from the University of Montpellier. She also experimented with some vinifications in the southern hemisphere.\u00a0 At this point Laure told her father and mother that she was ready and she joined the family estate in 2010.<\/p>\n

Since 2014, she has also created with her partner Dimitri, her own Domaine in the Appellation of Saint P\u00e9ray: Le Domaine de Lorient.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
